I updated this module and for some reason it didn't work and consequently disappeared from my system. Initially I didn't realise until other addons stopped working with these errors in the log:
error: exception thrown (pythontocppexception)
error contents: no module named requests
I update addons manually to avoid issues like these at inconvenient times so I checked another system and requests was there in the list. I was unable to find requests in any repository so I take it this is installed by default by kodi. I got around this by downloading the zip from github and installing which seems to have fixed the issue. Will requests keep updated in future despite installing via a zip?
