Well in your screenshot it doesn't show anything as finished watching(unless you disabled the watched marker) and that would be why you don't see it being dimmed on the home screen.

it's because i make use of a playlist for the unseen movies,
and use the same playlist for the widgets to show.
when i go in to movies i also see the movies i've seen.

this way if there's a update i don't need to change the .xml file.
and the unseen playlist works with all the skins

I noticed that he is not showing all of my latest added movies. Only the new movies that came out within the last 3 months.

But ive also added older movies but the widget dont shows these movies. So i thought about that and i would say he is using the date the movie file was created and not the folder was created or the movie was added to data base.

Thats really annoying...

Any suggestions how to change this "bug" ?

Oh,
That I didn't know,
Or miss read.
You could try to create a playlist for that,
So it shows you all added sorted on date.

Yes, maybe. But with what kind of parameters?
I cant see a option "last added movies to database".

It seems Kodi dont saves the date that movies are added to database.

Code:
<!--<colordiffuse>FF505050</colordiffuse>-->

Save and reload skin. Hopefully the dimmer should be gone now. Enjoy

That works! Now it looks like it should!

Thank your for pointing us to the right direction... ;-)
