Hi everyone,

For a while, i noticed kodi and use it on android tablet but i want to know that is there any possibilities adding smart tvs embeded dvbs2 tuner on kodi ?

The project that in my mind i buy a rasperry pi and install kodi on it and for watching dvbs2 channels through kodi using with tvs embeded original tuner via by usb or hdmi or network through router and using oscam or cccam.

Any solution for this project ? İ hope i can describe the sitituion.

My tv is 46pdl8908 philips smart tv, by the way.

Please read http://kodi.wiki/view/PVR and then re-read it a couple of times more for understanding. Then checkout http://kodi.wiki/view/PVR_backend as well.

You would need to run a PVR backend such as example (Tvheadend or VDR) as a tuner and streaming server in under your televisions embedded television.

What you ask for won't realistically happen since most televisions are not open platforms or firmware. Also since most televisions will run different systems you won't get get much help from others.

My advice, forget your idea and instead get a direct-attached USB tuner or supported set-top box as per http://kodi.wiki/view/PVR_backend
