Hello.

Just installed Insengard (my first time on Kodi) then I added a directory with some videos.

When clicking OK, in the screen after, Kodi does not use a scraper !

But there are some in the settings.
So why can't Kodi use one to scrap data from the web ?

Of course I can look at video after this but without any info displayed :/

You have to add a source and then set content (to movies / tv / music videos) and then click yes when asked if you want to scan.
Then kodi scrapes info / artwork.

I have my TV shows set as TV shows, but TVDB gets the episode order wrong and it doesn’t seem to add much in the way of metadata. I’ve tried XEM, but that doesn’t get it right either, unless there’s a special configuration I’m unaware of. How do you get the metadata to be acquired properly and the episodes in the right order?

Could you please show us a screenshot of the wrong ordered TV shows.

In general everything depends on the naming. If the naming is wrong, it won't work well.

You should check the order how the TV show is set directly at TVDB.com.

I ended up adding season and episode numbers like “S01E01" to the title of each episode . It’s a lot of work, but at least it makes the episodes show up in the right order in Kodi.

I just have one question: How do you label TV specials?
