Hi all,
So I set up Kodi for the first time on my mac, enabled airplay support, then went to my apple tv, went to audio output settings and saw my mac/kodi no problem.
Then I went to playing at video on appletv and no sound came out of my mac's speakers and I cannnot for the life of me figure out what i am doing wrong. I had the same issue with 5KPlayer. The only thing that's worked so far without a hitch is AirServer, but I'd really like to integrate everthing (eventually get kodi sideloaded, etc.) under one "hood" as it were.
