Do the Kodi/MrMC builds still respond to keys e.g. "C" for context menu? And if so would this work with a universal remote like the Harmony?

I'm very appreciative of the work done so far but the AppleTV remote just doesn't cut it for me with Kodi right now. Hoping I can customise something like the Harmony to make it more usable.

Okay, so is there any way currently to get directly to some of the features I have directly mapped to buttons on my current OpenElec setup e.g. "select next subtitle", "subtitles on/off toggle", "context menu" etc without bringing up the OSD and having to scroll through the functions?

your only available buttons are those that show up when 'mapping' an external IR remote. See ATV4 settings.
