When clicking install from zip file or trying to browse files, kodi crashes.
Both Jarvis beta 4 & RC1... I've downgraded to 15.2 and problem disappeared.

This bug was solved in 15.2RC by a patch... you probably forgot to copy it to Jarvis.

no its in jarvis for sure - please provide debug log (wiki) and crash report

might be to late to get a look at it though - jarvis is nearly out of the door and i just have no time atm - if this issue is back then it manifests by accident - the "fix" i did was already a strange hack and i somehow expected that this bug will fall onto my head again at some point...

I just installed Jarvis on my Mac and am also getting the crash when trying to install from zip.

it will be fixed in 16.1 because 16 was already done when i fixed it again...

I installed this one from nightlies and it's allowing me to install from zip file without crashing.

martijn grabbed the wrong link - i have corrected it i. his post. It now really should point to 16.1 rc (from 29th of february)
