Currently I have 4 options for sound output devices in the system settings

PI: HDMI
PI: Analogue
PI HDMI + Analogue
ALSA.....

I want to only the option med HDMI and Analogue because I want to switch between these with my remote (I have assigned a key for this action). However, there's no OSD od the output device change when I use the remote and going from Analogue to HDMI takes 3 pushes making it easy to miss it and then you have to start over again.

Can I change the available devices in a xml file ?

No idea.
But you could use Audio profiles switcher - map a shortcut to toggle audio - you can even add one to the osd if you edit a skin xml - and/or set a toggle audio button to your remote.

Thanks that works great. Especially that I can have different volume between profiles. I only have one problem, when when switching audio output I need to stop the cideo an restart it in order to get the sound in the right place. Is this normal behaviour? I'm not sure that it is specific to this addon or if it's also the case when changing output manually
