in case anyone wants to try it, i recently added a kodi plugin to my github

to run it, you will need an API that can as an intermediary to Launchkey, as explained in the README.
my motivation for this plugin came from two things.
(1) user experience
the launchkey SDK for mobile means that an integration with the kodi remote control app is possible, and that would be a very nice authentication experience for users
(2) e-commerce opportunities
to monetise video content you need a secure way to authenticate
i'm not sure how to progress as i don't have the skills for (1) or the resources for (2). if you know someone who does, please reply here.
