Just wondering if there is/could be a builtin command to get a list of xbmc media file types.

Im just making a python script that needs to compare filetypes to see if they are compatible, and then play them etc etc.

Donno said something about HTTP-api but there was nothing in there that could be used via python.

Any help would be appreciated.

edit the source. see settings.cpp for them defaults. there are no command to return them currently.
