VideoPlayer.ChannelIcon would be useful in the Video OSD and VideoInfo when Live TV is playing.
Is this something easy to do? Any pointers on what would need to be done?

I thought it was icon for live tv. Confluence has it so look at the code in VideoFullScreen.xml

Turns out:
Player.Art(thumb)
(used by Confluence)
and
VideoPLayer.Cover
both show the channel logo.
