Hello,
I am new to Kodi. Being curious, I' ve installed Kodi and Emby on FireTV about a month ago.
I have a movie collection numbering over 4000 titles, and stored in about 12 hard disks.
I understand that most people collect their movies in a NAS, but I'm not ready for this.
I add these collections as movies by adding from Movies#1, Movies#2, etc. All my collections
appear combined in the "Movies" category. The problem is, I cannot play any movie in "Movies",
if this particular movie happens to be on a HDD not connected to my PC, or PC server, where
the Emby server is installed.
My requirement is: Is it at all possible that a future add-on may add a certain message indicating
something like [Please connect Movies#xx to Play your title].
Fyi, all my movie collections are in folders named Movies#1, Movies#2, etc. These folder names
also appear in "Video Files" after installing, so there is a connection inside Kodi.
Thanks for any support and replies if any.
