Kodi home screen add on shortcuts keep disapparing on each restart of firestick, total fresh install (Kodi 16.)with all the addons installed. Each time I go to skin settings (confluence) and add them, they appear on home screen, some times they show as empty until addon is opened in addons folder then content will appear in the home screen shortcut.

Sounds like either a corrupt settings file or the device is completely out of memory, causing it to fail when it tries to save the settings. Try uninstalling Kodi completely and then re-installing Kodi to clear out the settings files.
