Why is it that when I go to play a video from my Files list it sometimes rebuilds the thumbnails.

Is it because those files are on another computer?

I have noticed that it does not do that with files stored on the computer that Kodi is installed on.

Is there any way to permanently stop this?

It's a small thing but it annoys me. Seems like after awhile I would have a gigantic thumbnails folder
and it's already big enough as it is.
