When playing back movies, the output (HDMI) eventually goes to black. After a short hiccup, audio continues. The time until it fails varies from 5 or so minutes to 40 or more. The application needs to be restarted via task manager to continue. Taskman shows it as not responding.

First seen in 14.1, I updated to 15.2 and current nvidia drivers, no change in behaviour.

No other problems on machine as far as i know, i.e. plex home theater OK.

I have searched the forum and found other mentions of this type of problem and fs window vs fullscreen no difference, disable dxva no difference.

Anyone have insight into solutions to this problem?

Try Jarvis rc3 and make sure you have full screen window selected, also make sure your nvidia drivers are up to date.
