I've been having problems with Isengard running on a quad core Raspberry PI2. My backend server is running NextPVR and I use WIFI with the RPI2 to connect to the backend server.
I actually have two different identically configured versions of Kodi available to run on the PI2: Kodi Helix and Kodi Isengard. My observation is that WIFI operates much better under Helix than under Isengard. Specifically Isengard appears to run into more buffering problems than Helix. In fact, error recovery due to stream disruptions seem to be tolerated better under Helix than under Isengard.
I might also add that I'm also running Isengard on single core Raspberry Pi with very few problems.
I prefer to run Kodi Isengard on the PI2 but the buffering issues make it impossible to enjoy the viewing experience.
