I'm not really familiar with upstart but I think it should be fairly easy to depend on a wlan0 network connection before launching Kodi. I've seen some sample upstart scripts to accomplish this, but they look deceptively simple compared to the existing scripts on the native kodibuntu image.
I have a central MySQL server so if Kodi is launched before it becomes reachable, the library becomes unavailable except through the file list.
Should I change an upstart script, or is there a Kodi setting to disable the timeout used to wait for MySQL?
