I've found a bug that causes an established zero conf detected kodi web server to hang indefinitely. I have a proxy server on my network. I connect my iPhone or iPad to my wifi network and manually add my proxy server settings to my iOS device. The computer running kodi uses the same proxy server as its gateway. I run the kodi remote app and have it scan for a kodi server. It finds it without issue. I click save and try to connect to the newly discovered kodi server and it just hangs there spinning without end.
I can remove the proxy setting in wifi settings on iOS and then all works as it should.
I've tried also setting kodi to use the same proxy server under internet settings but it still fails.
I'd like to note that I've tried 3rd party kodi remotes on iOS for both iPhone and iPad and they function regardless of my wifi proxy settings. Please let me know if you want me to try something else.
