Call to Arms: Combatting Trademark Infringement
@memoriesman49

I don't know if you really think all the tv shows and movies you're selling on your website are in the public domain but after a quick look many of them are not much of it is mainstream content from the last couple of years. This could get you in a huge amount of very expensive legal trouble. Its one thing to download a movie or tv show but then to go on and sell it, that's the kind of thing movie studios really go after. You are selling prated content and it all leads directly back to your real identity. If someones told what you are doing is fully legal I suggest you talk to them again.

The rest of what I sell is in the public domain. I do understand your concerns. Thank you for you not of gentle push in the right direction.
@memoriesman49, you might not think so but it sound as if you are profeting from piracy, which is something that is not only not allowed here and will get you a ban but also illegal and might get you thrown in jail.

The basic rule of thumb for what is not allowed, is that if you are offering something that gives you for free that you would normally expect to pay for by any other means, then it'll most likely be using pirate feeds.

Read Kodi's Piracy Policy, official forum rules, and list of banned add-ons

Don't be stupid. If something is too good to sound true, like free movies that are not more than 50-years old, then it probably illegal to distribute them or assist in getting them easy for free.

I think the point has been made, folks. memoriesman49 is aware of the situation, so it's over to him to address however he wishes - but let's keep any further debate out of this forum, as per our rules.

That site has a lot of bad information. It referred to the Raspberry Pi 3 as being an "Android Streaming Box" and then said "Kodi is an open-source software which is specially designed to stream content to your TV from a computer or phone."

ISTM the term "stream content" is much abused and can be taken to mean just about anything.
