I have a beastie boys anthology collection scanned into kodi. When the dvd menu comes up in kodi I cannot control the mouse very well and it is very slow reaction on a remote as well. I have never had this problem before with it.

Thats common for some DVD menus, just play the main file from the DVD and skip the menu.

yeah, that's kind of where the problem comes in. The dvd menu on this one is pretty crucial in my opinion. There are so many audio options and other kinds of stuff in the files that the menu really should be there. I was going to remux it, but didn't because of all of that.

Ah nightmare, maybe an external player for problem DVD's?

That indeed did do the trick. I am on the dsplayer so that I can use madvr for films so I kind of had it switched from the internal dvd player to begin with. Thanks a lot for the suggestion!
