Hi all I'm new here
I'm running a raspberry pi with berryboot and iv just updated to kodi isengard and my pointer has disappeared. When it is on the berryboot menu (for selecting kodi or linux os) the pointers there but as soon as kodi boots up its invisible. has any one got any ideas on a fix because in stumped

Have you enabled mouse in system/input devices?

hey that was quick
yes its enabled, the mouse works fine its just the pointer is inviable when its on koidi on raspian the pointer works fine.

iv got it duel booted with berryboot

Really a question for berryboot people.
The mouse is hardware accelerated and uses the mailbox interface, so a missing (or incorrectly permissioned) /dev/vcio might cause this problem.

nice one pal ill give them a shout see if they have any ideas or I might just install an old kodi on it

You are probably using a too old kernel.
If it's a Pi 2 you can upgrade it by going to the Berryboot menu editor, pressing "add OS", and accepting the Berryboot update when prompted.
Upgrading a Pi 1 is more complicated if you want to keep existing files.
