Hi,
I've been reading on the forum that the official posture from the developers is that since DVD subtitle scaling looks like crap, they simply removed it, and suggest that if you want you can recompile XBMC with your own featureset... I wish I could...
I have a very small TV (about 14"), so to watch movies with .sub/.idx subtitles I have to be 2m at most from the TV, so no watching from the bedroom. So DVD subtitle scaling was a great option for me because I could enlarge them enough to be able to watch comfortably from across the room, or from another room.
Sure I could (and believe me, I want to) buy a larger TV, but that's not an option for the next few months, and besides, I can't imagine I'm the only one in this position, am I?
Or, does anyone know of a way to manually enlarge the images on the .sub file?
