So I have a locally networked video library complete with fan art running Aeon Nox skin on kodi 15.2.

I have selected on one of my menus (Movie Library) show random movie fan art. It has worked great for weeks

Yesterday they randomly disappeared and I get the default_g.jpg file when booting up and a black screen when it cycles through.

All of my other menu items work just fine w/ specific folders. I am at a loss for how to get it back



Things I have tried

Running kodi 15.2

1 - using the search and wiki's

2 - rebuilding my entire video library (myvideos93.db)

3 - deleted, thumbnails directory, textures.db, and scriptmetahandler

4 - gone through guisettings.xml and looked for errors

All fan art shows properly in the movie library when attempting to look at movie information but it displays as a black screen when on the home screen

What do I have to do to restore this back properly?

Try to cache everything using the texturecache script from Milhouse. Thats usually enough to fix random black screens from the random fanart backgrounds.
