so my friend was showing me that he's got 80+ HD Live tv channels as part of a playlist in VLC player, he has sent me a .txt file which includes all the channels, they are all .m3u8. The problem I have is that when i open the .txt file with vlc nothing happens.. Can anyone help me on this matter? I'v searched google but to no avail. I can post a sample of one of the links if that would be of help!

The is the official Kodi forum not the VLC forum. Also it's unlikely the friend's 80+ HD TV channels are legal streams so I doubt we can help you.
