Did you know Gumtree has 41 PAGES of devices and people offering services to give free sky/movies/football etc?

Im shocked, they dont know it but their destroying the very thing they use.

It's a mAd crazy thing now, big time with the cable cutting rage. Any retard with a cheap box, and some bullsh@t load trying to make a buck.

Over Christmas I had to sternly warn several family members about the 'boxes' they wanted to buy that friends had. They thought it was amazing. Until I told them the pitfalls. Then a couple even asked: well, you would be able to help me right?

Yes, it's getting really bad. A certain kind of resellers don't think about anything but a quick buck.

Can you change the title of this thread 'Kodi Pirate issue;, would imply there is an association with Pirates and Kodi. Better title would be 'Pirate issue' or 'Gumtree and Pirates'.

Clearly there is a perceived association with Kodi and piracy. That was the whole point of all those other threads, 'call to arms' etc.

Yup, and as long as messages in forums and blogs keep talking about it in this fashion and in the same breath, it will not turn around. If Kodi was just a player, there would not be a link. Utorrent has managed to disassociate itself from piracy, yet it is probably still the number one tormenting program. It's one thing to suggest the programs to use to accomplish some end and another to say it's the way to do it; a subtle distinction, It takes a bit of effort by all to protect the code we hold dear. I would like the spotlight to fall on the facilitators, the add-ons, and the server sites, not Kodi as complicit, in the same regard the internet or an operation system must be available for these infractions.

In the end is it the people or is it the tool.

Ive seen forums with any p word about anything not supported show up as *********** afterwards so google cant catch it. So I guess they have some sort of auto filter ? We should have this Smile
