After trying on windows , am trying Kodi on macosx.

I have an MCE ehome receiver that was working on my win doze build, but although recognised in system info, is not working in mac?

Any ideas please

It says it is a 'FINTEK' device

you need a driver for this i guess - i doubt that you will find any help for it in this forum. I would rather try to google if someone got it to work on osx...

When I made the full transition to OSX a few years ago my MCE receiver was a major hurdle. I finally gave up and went with a Flirc receiver, best decision I made! Cheap too!

Yeah a windows remote is the clue here your going to have problems, I skipped expensive unix as my main Kodi machine and use it as intended to browse the net hehehehe, nah for work but i do run Kodi on here for the odd bored time
