Use the back-up add-on, available from the official repo.

Or else for manual backup, make a copy of your userdata (wiki) folder, and for completeness the .kodi folder (one directory level above it).

After re-install, copy it back again to where it was.

Reviving an old thread here, as all searches for 'backup' refers to the backup add-on.

This add-on, however, restores everything *except* skin settings. I'm using Aeon Nox and have spent quite a bit of time setting up the main menu to my liking, and I would prefer to not have to do that on all three of my Kodi installations.

Add-on id: script.xbmcbackup
Version: 1.0.6
Kodi version: SPMC 16.4.2
Backup method: browse remote path, files stored on smb server
File selection: Everything except Custom Directory 1/2

What's missing ? Am I just out of luck with what I want to accomplish ?

Edited to remove "Profiles" from my file selection above. I re-ran the backup for profiles as well, but no change.
