Their mods are arbitrarily deleting a series and it's left me with a ridiculous "series not allowed" entry in Kodi. What is the best TVDB alternative for series? It's not the open database I thought it was. Thank you!

You have to download the TMDB add-on from the repo and edit your tv show source adding the TMDB as the content scrapper:
