Uninstalled PVR WMC after upgrading to Jarvis - can't get it back
#1
Hi All -

I've been a happy PVR/Server WMC user for years, and decided to upgrade a few of my Kodi machines this morning, something that never seems to go well for me.

I am running ServerWMC on a Windows 7 machine, everything is stable there.

The client I upgraded was a Kodibuntu box (Acer Revo) running 14.0 Helix. I upgraded using "apt-get upgrade kodi" and everything seemed to go fine. It rebooted into 16.0 Jarvis, but gave an error about the PVR front end not being configured. I couldn't figure out what was wrong after enabling it several times and the TV option not showing up, so I did something stupid and chose to uninstall it, figuring I could manually re-install from zip file. But now I see that there is no option to download the pvr.wmc client on the website, it just says it's bundled with Kodi now.

Anything I can do here short of reinstalling Kodi completely?

Thanks,

Ross

Not 100% but I think the pvr addons need to be downloaded from apt, try
Code:
sudo apt-cache search pvr
and see if anything shows up
If I have been of help, please add to my reputation as a way of saying thanks, it's free.

Thanks! I should have thought of that - worked like a charm. FWIW, "sudo apt-get install kodi-pvr-wmc" did the trick.

Thanks again!
