On Silvo 5 skin, when I take my flash drive (has folders for background pictures for the main menu) out from raspberry pi 2 to install pictures,they're gond. I have tried moving (copying) them from file mgr, but can't seem to do it. Any suggestions?

I might be reading this wrong but try this:
Copy your folder to Kodi's user data and when you set up your backgrounds access the folder through the Home folder.
