I can not set lanczos3.

Ok i must edit the advancedsettings.xml but i dont find this.

Device: NVIDIA Shield TV
TV: Samsung JS8500

Settings > HDMI > RES > 4K 60Hz

Colour space: YCbCr 4:2:0 is my only option.

If put into 4K 23.976Hz I get 4:4:4

Weird

Same happens even if I turn off/on UHD/DEEP COLOUR

Since Koying hasn't released it to the play store yet, as he had to fix some stuff. He is working on 16.4.1

Could test this version for some days now. The issue with the freezing video is the same. Now i would say as it happens very randomly the count of freezes are the same.
During the last weeks i have tried Kodi 17 nightly also and i never have had a freeze.

Ok its working now but only with Movie. Whene i look a Serie i can not set lanczos3.

I have my Videos on a normal HDD in the PC but i play with my Shield TV. But i have found the issus. My seriesand movies are all 1920x1080, but whene i play a Video with 1280x720 or lower i can set lanczos3. I think is working only with lower resolution.

So 1080P file on a 1080P screen - no ability to select lanczos3 - optimised because there is no need. 720P file on a 1080P screen then the option will be available."

This will be the same for 1080p if running through a 4k TV, if you have a 1080p TV then there will be no need

Firstly thanks koying for this great version of kodi!

I just got my shield yesterday and have been tinkering with it for the last 2 nights. Im just using the game controller for now and one thing I have noticed is that when I am watching a film the controller goes to sleep after some time. The problem is I can wake it up but it doesn't respond so I can't control things. Plugging it in via the micro sd connected to the shield makes it work again. I have only had this problem in spmc. Anyone else had similar?

Just to update my previous post. It is happening on the shield's home screen now so it is not a problem with spmc. I have contacted nvidia support who have given me some things to try. I think it is something to do with me having it plugged it via ethernet and having a WiFi controller
