My MacBook Pro uses 16:10 resolutions. My Kodi skin uses 16:9.

Is there some way I can have only Kodi use 1920 x 1080 while the computer's actual display is set to 1920 x 1200?

Sure, just change the calibration settings in Settings -> System -> Video output -> Video calibration. Bring the top down to 0,60 and the bottom up to 0,60.
