Hi!

Is there a way to force Kodi to use the Intel GPU on launch instead of the nVidia card? I have a 2014 Retina MacBook Pro. The nVidia GPU uses too much battery power.

Nope - apple provides no sane way to do this programmatically - but there are 3rd Party tools that can disable NVIDIA iirc - you would need to ask google for that.
