I'll chime in here and say that the update removed Kodi for me.

it had mine removed as well, but after reinstalling Kodi, all my settings were retained as mentioned here by many.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know why it didn't disappear on every device and why other side loaded apps didn't disappear as well?
