Dear Kodi collaborators and contributors,

I'm IT knowledgeable...ish but I would really appreciate some pointers/guidance you may help to carry further.

The dossier is as follows:


1. Took an upgrade on OS X El Capitan 10.11.4 on Macbook Retina 12 inch early 2015 and
2. Kodi starts but then crashes as soon as the Home screen is on briefly for 2 seconds.



< ! -- No such issue exited in 10.11.3 pre upgrade version, I did not take a backup as the 10.11.4 readme was not a major but with Apple it looks like I should have -->
< ! -- Had Aeon Nox Silvo skin and have renamed guisettings.xml just in case as skins was mod with custom fonts and image; backed up Addons and Userdata directories -->
< ! -- Had advancedsetings.xml with Network and log level =-1 (turn off logging) as standard.


3. Following the crash Kodi Quit Unexpectedly [ignore] [report] [reopen] option screen appears.
4. Have tried the Memphis fix he provided but that did not work.
5. Cleared Add-on, Userdata reinstall also didn't work.

Have you tried Kodi 16.1 RC 2 yet. Might help.
On edit: your log shows 16.1 rc 2.

1. the paste for the crashlog is private and i can't see it...
2. a lot pf addons their - are you sure it doesn't happen pn a clean setup? (with userdata folder moved away for example)

Tried a clean setup and didn't work.
