How to change Logo Kodi
#16
default logo is packaged within the skin so that is not a resolution.
Just save it on a central location and you'll be fine.

I will also take a look if I can work something out that stores the custom logo in the addon_data folder

Thanks marcelvelt for all of your insight and help on this!
I really appreciate it! Smile

If you could manage something that stores a custom logo that would be AWESOME!

I have just implemented this... If you browse any custom image in the skin, this image will be saved inside the addon_data dir for the skin. This will allow you to easy migrate all settings by just copying the addon_data dir.

Also the backup module is adjusted to include the custom images.

This fix will be available in NEXT beta update of the skin, offcourse after that in the stable version.

Good morning Marcelveldt! Smile

I noticed today that when I go to SETTINGS / SKIN SETTINGS / GENERAL SETTINGS and try click the [button] to add my own image for this logo, nothing happens? I tried it on an Android device and a Windows 8 PC both with the same results. It used to bring up a popup window that would allow me to browse for pics.

Can you take a look and see if you're able to browse to select an image? Huh

Thanks so much for all that you do here! Big Grin

Yes, this happens because the skin updated before the skinhelper addon did.
It will be fixed once the skinhelper gets updated.

If you want to test it beforehand, here is the manual link for the updated skin helper service:

hey guys!

Im new here and I just made a new build with this amazing skin, thanks to @marcelveldt!

I already customize my build and everything looks fine, but I want to replace the kodi logo on the header and the Jarvis Kodi wallpaper in the begging but nothing works for me :c

I dont know what else to do... I tried using a custom logo instead of the kodi one, but I need to pulled from a remote source, like those ones from a repo.

If somebody can help me I'll appreciate a lot!

In the skinsettings you will find an option to change that logo image.
You can browse for an image on disk

Is still possible to change that logo?

Hey all, I imagine I'm not the only one to solve this, but here ya' go (Linux):

the KODI logo is located at
Code:
/usr/share/kodi/media/vendor_logo.png

Simply replace that logo with a PNG. Dimensions: 465px x 128px
