I have a file which should have 5.1 AAC sound and I'am trying to get it to work properly via my XOnar soundcard. I just prefer analogue sound which works great for FLAC 5.1.
Is this a known problem or do I have something wrong here?

Works great in general. Without a Debug Log no on can sadly help you.

Post a Debug Log with 5.1 flac and one with 5.1 AAC please

First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.
