I am looking at Kodi platform being simulated in a virtualised environment.. a typical x86 platform.. Does Kodi have any release for that wherein the complete Client can be simulated internally by us?

Who is us?
If you are using it on VM ware, install KODI like any other program.
Or are you asking something else? Your question is kind of vague...
