Hi all,

I'm considering using Kodi as my main media hub.....so streams, local files, and TV will all be routed through it.

I'd also like to run my PS4 through Kodi as if it were just another channel.


My questions are:
- What is the performance of Live TV through Kodi? Is it all hardware based?
---- If I'm playing PS4 through Kodi, can't have any Video Lag

- Are there any plugins that will detect new content from my capture card and alert me?
---- I'd also like to run Netflix through the box, but since Kodi can't have Netflix support (no public API key), I might connect a Chromecast either through an HDMI switch, or a 2nd capture card.

You'll definitely end up with a lot of lag - you wouldn't be able to play this way.
