Yeah, I can also set it to manual and select either the intel, or the nvidia. In both cases I have the same problem.

do you have Platform Update for Windows 7 installed?

Edit: you have 5 years old graphics driver. Please update your graphics driver from Intel site .

It's a very bad advice. It may help if app uses DX11 features only, Kodi doesn't use dx11 features at all. If this "instruction" helps you to run Kodi it means that you have very bad graphics drivers.

I have two graphic drivers one intel works with max dx10 and other amd works with dx11 and kodi jarvis 16.1 used to crash on start up trust me this method solves the problem if kodi crashes with ur graphic card

You are not alone who has non dx11 card and I trust me you suggestion is a very bad. You force directx runtime to using a software device which has no acceleration at all. no video acceleration no GUI acceleration. If this suggestion "fixes" issue with Kodi then it means that your driver has a bug which causes the issue.
