Hello,

I have gone thru numerous threads and post for adding/plugging a LCD panel to KODI HTPC to display the media information, however I am confused as to what hardware and software is required and is the right combination for the job.

My current HTPC is

Dell Studio Hybrid 140G
Intel C2D T9600
4 GB RAM
256 Gb SSD,
BroadCom CrystalHD MiniPCIE decoder.
Windows 7 32-Bit Professional
Kodi 16.1 Jarvis.

It is a compact dell unit , a bit old but the perfect find for me back when I started to look for a ready-made mini PC to be used as HTPC and it still kicks it hard.

I am not an uber geek or DIY techie, I just have moderate info, knowledge and limited time available at my hand to tinker with the stuff to the extent possible.

I am looking for a ready-made USB powered small LCD panel, which can be configured with a software plugin/addon. I dont have any on-board USB header pins available, so I am looking for an LCD panel which can get power and data from the regular USB male/female socket on the back/front of the HTPC. I would prefer a graphical LCD Panel (as opposed to text only).

Can anyone suggest me a way forward to find the desired hardware/software.

Would appreciate the guidance.
