Need serverwmc client

Power failure this am caused serverwmc to fail. It turned out to be on the client end but now I need a new copy ( just the client for android).

Where can I find it?

Thanks.

Not sure why a power failure would make you lose the pvr addon, but the easiest way to get it is to reinstall Kodi.

Thank you that worked...

Power failure caused main room kodi to not connect, but bedroom kodi was fine.

I tried disabling and then re enabling it to no end. So I deleted it not knowing I could not get it back easily.

Is Server wmc time sensitive? I did noticed the clock was off before I rebooted?

Thanks...this software works great for me!

Serverwmc is not time sensitive, however you want to keep the clocks between the server machine and the client machine in sync.

Is there a way to reinstall it without a Kodi Reinstall? I am using OSMC on a rPi 3. I don't want to have to go through the whole setup again if possible. Is there a zip I can install the add-on from?

You should be able to reinstall Kodi but keep your previous configuration and user data shouldn't you? I know on windows you can do this

But to answer the question, no there is no zip file available sorry, as pvr.wmc is built by the Kodi build servers along with all other official Kodi pvr addons and is included in the Kodi distribution. It would be a huge effort for us to do standalone builds for all the various operating systems and processor architectures (i honestly wouldn't even know how to!), particularly considering it would barely ever be required since they're bundled with Kodi

Perhaps if you download the full Kodi package then extract the addon files from within it, that would enable you to copy them in place on your existing system?

you can force a reinstall of Kodi with
Code:
sudo apt-get install --reinstall rbp2-mediacenter-osmc
change rbp2 to whatever type of pi or vero you are using, rbp1, vero or vero2 Pi2 and Pi3 use rbp2
If I have been of help, please add to my reputation as a way of saying thanks, it's free.
