I just installed Kodi on my Android app and I am trying to get it to add my iTunes music from my Windows 7 PC.
Both devices are on the same WiFi network.
I open the app and click Music then add music but I am not sure what I do now.
Do I need to do anything on the PC?

You need to direct Kodi to pick up the files from your PC. Hit "Browse for new share" then navigate through the Windows Network (SMB) option to where your files are located on your PC.

I am not sure what SMB is.
The media I want to browse to is located on the C:\ drive, not a network drive.
Do I need to setup SMB? And if so how do I do that?

Okay so my Win7 PC already had a workgroup, I shared my Itunes folder and now when I click Music > Add Music > Browse > Windows Network > SMB a message says "Connection refused"
It did that a couple of times and then now when I click on the C drive to try and drill down to my music folder it asks for a username and password ?
