NTFS drives
#1
Hi Kodi Gurus,

Noob here asking for help! I have two NTFS drives I want to mount inside a Kodibuntu system. When I boot exit Kodi to the Linux desktop I can see the drives but when I try to read them it said the drives were corrupt and had not been shut down properly. I took the drives out, reinstalled them into windows and the drives were fine. So I shut down the pc. Took the drives back over to Kodibuntu and I get the same error.

Please help! How do I get these drives to mount every time in Kodibuntu with read and write access?

Hi, Thanks for the quick reply. The link you gave doesn't seem to work.

As I said the drives mount but I can't access them.

you may have to turn off 'fast-startup' in windows so the drives are available in Linux.

see link below on how to do this....

I dual boot with Linux and Windows with a shared NTFS partition and I had to turn off Fast Startup to be able to access the drive from Linux OS
