just wanted to say about the nas drives not gonna sleep anymore with his requested thingy
it eats sources and eats hdd drives!

That was certainly my concern. When my server sit's idle, with the NAS drives spun down, it reaches 45w, which isn't bad for a huge server powered by an i5 2300. Considering I sleep 8hrs a day and work 8-12hrs a day, my server sits idle a LOT except when SickBeard or CouchPotato are doing a download. I rather appreciate that kind of power efficiency.
