See how bad the poster quality is?

An now the same screenshots with the original posters but resized manually in Photoshop with the Bicubic filter:

You can see there's a huge difference. Why are the posters on Kodi so bad?

I've tried to tweak the options on advancedsettings.xml but I couldn't make them look better...

I have a NVIDIA Shield TV with the latest firmware (3.1, Marhsmallow) installed.

Any thoughts?
