I bought the HP STREAM last year and it has been great. I now need another set up so what mini pc do you guys recommend that would be similar for $200-300?

If you don't need Windows then the Chromeboxes based on the 2955Us are very similar and run Open/LibreElec really nicely.

One possibility is to buy a barebones and build to your own spec.

Under European Law it is legal to re-sell Windows licences from defunct PCs and those licences are perfectly legal worldwide, you can for example purchase a Windows 7 licence for around US$23 which is eligible for a free upgrade to Windows 10 all perfectly legal and above board.

You can find such licences on any of the European eBay sites or on sites such as this German one.. (I have never purchased from this particular site, please satisfy yourself that it is legit.)

Alternatively this Acer Revo looks like great value and I think it is of similar spec to the Stream, worth checking how the processors compare.
