Just in case anyone is wondering how they could use a live KODIbuntu system to edit things like GRUB or an xorg.conf file:
While running KODIbuntu live:
1. Go to the Power symbol icon in the bottom left corner and choose the top selection; "Exit."
2. In the dialogue box under the drop down menu that says "Other," there is a Username text box. Type in the word "kodi" without quotes.
3. [Tab] to or click the Password text box, but leave blank.
4. Go to Session (the rounded box icon in the top right corner, 4 items to the left from the edge) and Choose Lubuntu-Netbook.
5. Back in the dialogue box, click "Log in."
Visit what you want to edit in the file manager (PCManFM) and note the extra letters and numbers in the path.
