Hey guys. Very new to this, so have some patience with me...

I just hooked up Kodi on my Rasp Pi 3 and then some add-ons. Everything worked wonderful for a few hours. Then, after a restart, all streams are a black screen, although I get audio just fine.

I tried completely formatting my micro sd card and starting over, but I end up with the same results. Only this time it goes straight to the black screen. Didn't seem to work at all.

All the menus work just fine, all the controls, I can stream music... it's just video, and that's from any video source I try.

Any help would be absolutely fantastic!

Well, I went home and started to log what was going on... and it stopped having the issue. I guess it sensed it was in trouble and stopped acting up!

If you mentioned the distribution and version it may have been useful. (The log would have had that clear).
There was a bug in OE 7 beta 2 which resulted in blackscreens that is fixed with beta 3. Perhaps you have updated?

I don't think I updated, but honestly, I tried so many things, I'm unsure.

first thing you should try is to remove all those banned addons and repositories from your system. Those are illegal and are not supported in here. If you don't know which ones belong to the list, see:

After that is done, try to play one of your local files (on your local machine or on your NAS...nothing via internet) which gets you the black screen and report back with a clean Debug Log.
