Linux Ubuntu, Kodi 16.1et 5.1 Dolby
#1
Hello,
I've got an Ubuntu, the last version with Kodi 16.1.
I can't configure, listen DolbyDigital, DTS & Co with my amplifier.
Movies are in 5.1 and my amplifier show me only PCM.
In the menu I haven't got Passthrough mode.
In Ubuntu the 5.1 is recognize, I can test each speaker.
I know also that I've got Alsamixer and Pulseaudio.

The post your Debug Log, please.

Besides that I already see your issue. Your HDMI is configured as multichannel in pavucontrol. It needs to be stereo in order to use AC3 / DTS. If I was you I would keep it as is and use multichannel it is superior in all cases (besides atmos bits, which PA does not support anyways).

Ok, but my Volume Control window doesn't look like yours... Nowhere to select AC3 DTS...
Where in logs you decrypt this ??
I'll show it you tomorrow.
